On Oct. 26 and 27, virtual workshops led by Dr. Stephanie Stafford, Assistant Dean of Online Learning, will describe how to construct and evaluate Course Alignment Maps.

  • A Course Alignment Map outlines all components of a course, ensuring that each element seamlessly supports the next, while guaranteeing alignment with the stated learning objectives.
  • A Course Alignment Map helps students understand the connections between course activities and intended learning outcomes, and helps instructors create better assessments of student learning and gain insights about the effectiveness of their teaching.
  • Click to register for either of the workshops:
    • Thursday, Oct. 26, 5-6 p.m.
    • Friday, Oct. 27, noon to 1 p.m.
