President Posey announces her retirement
Dr. Monica Posey, who has served at Cincinnati State for 34 years, including the past 10 years as President, announced that she plans to retire effective August 31, 2026, at the conclusion of the current academic year.
In a message sent to College employees on January 22, 2026, Dr. Posey said, “The College and, most importantly, all of you have been wonderful to me. I look forward to continuing to work together over the coming months and then staying connected in new ways.”
The College Board of Trustees is expected to announce plans for a Presidential Search process at their meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 27.
