Forums for HPS Dean candidates on Apr. 1 & 4 are open to all

All members of the College community are invited to attend in-person Open Forums with the two final candidates for the position of Dean of the Health & Public Safety Division.

These forums are part of the Provost’s interview process for candidates and will take place:

• Monday, April 1, 1 to 2 p.m., HPB 02 – Dr. Paul Currie, Dean of the School of Health Professions/School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Westmoreland County Community College (Pennsylvania)
• Thursday, April 4, 1 to 2 p.m., HPB 02 – Dr. Bonnie Smith, Associate Dean & Director of Nursing (& currently serving as Interim Dean of Health & Public Safety), Cincinnati State

During the open forums, each candidate will deliver a presentation of no more than 30 minutes discussing their background and experience, accomplishments, and vision for the HPS Division. Then, a 30-minute question-and-answer session will take place. 

Following each forum, attendees will have the opportunity to complete a survey that assesses strengths and areas of growth for each candidate.
