Common Time on Oct. 30 promises a “no tricks, all treats” intro to Element451, a new tool for communication with students

All faculty, staff members, and administrators are invited to Common Time on Monday, October 30, for a bewitching introduction to the College’s new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool: Element451.

This in-person-only Common Time is from 3 to 4:30 p.m., in the not-so-spooky Conference Center.

Kevin Wesselman, the recently-appointed CRM Manager, and Debbie Poweleit, Director of Admissions, will reveal the secrets of Element451 and explain how College employees can use the tool to enchant prospective and current students, by creating personalized and automated announcements, messages, spells, event potions, and more, for distribution via email and text messaging.

During Common Time, academic programs and student support departments interested in automating and expanding communications with students will gain better understanding of what the Element451 platform can do, and learn the steps needed to add this new tool into your student communication plans.

  • The Common Time presentation will provide basic understanding of the CRM’s functionality so participants can begin brewing your own ideas on how to use Element 451 to support student recruitment and enrollment, and to enhance student success goals.
  • In addition, Common Time will include an interactive demonstration of how to use this new communication tool.

Kevin Wesselman, CRM Manager, is the main point of contact for Element451 for the College community. Kyla Wright, College Recruiter and CRM Coordinator, is the main point of contact for the Admissions Office.
