The Cincinnati Enquirer recently reported on the academic, athletic, and other accomplishments of Reese Tuttle, a 2023 graduate of Indian Hill High School who earned four Cincinnati State degrees through College Credit Plus, along with completing an online bachelor’s degree and closing in on another bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati– all while in middle school and high school.

Reese earned the Associate of Science degree at CState, and also completed all three majors in the Computer Programming and Database Management (CPDM) program: Computer Information Systems, Computer Software Development, and Software Engineering Technology.

According to the Enquirer article, Reese has an internship with GE this summer and is also starting a master’s degree program. She plans to spend the next year teaching current Indian Hill students, and then attend Harvard University in fall of 2024 to complete her master’s.

Bob Nields, Program Chair for the CPDM degrees, said, “From the 8th grade until now, it has been fun watching Reese grow and succeed. Her knowledge in IT is beyond anything I have seen from a high school student, and she did well in every one of her Cincinnati State classes.”

“Reese is a very smart and motivated young lady, and also very personable and a joy to be around. Her participation in the CPDM programs helped demonstrate the possibilities that exist with CCP,” Bob said.

Bob added, “Reese is the first person I know of who graduated from our CPDM program and is now moving on to Harvard!”
