Spring Student Vaccination Incentive program includes vax & booster shot recipients
Starting today, Feb. 23, Cincinnati State is launching a Vaccination Incentive Program for Spring Semester students.

HOW TO ENTER:
Spring Semester students who received a first or second COVID-19 vaccine shot after Dec. 14, 2021– or received a COVID booster shot any time– can fill out the “Vaccine Incentive” eForm and attach a scanned copy of their vaccination card.
- Students can receive a $25 gift card after turning in their eForm.
- By submitting the eForm, students also are entered in a drawing for weekly prizes of $100 or $250, as well as a grand prize of $5,000.
Prize drawings begin Mar. 2 and continue each Wednesday through Apr. 27, 2022.
- Prize winners will be notified and will pick up prizes in the Provost’s Office, ATLC 343.
- A student who wins a prize of $100 or $250 remains eligible for the $5,000 grand prize, but is not eligible for additional weekly prize drawings.
Students who are not yet vaccinated, or have not received a booster, can get their vaccine or booster from any vaccine provider.
- An on-campus vacccine clinic (administered by Walgreen’s) is being scheduled. Details will be announced when the clinic schedule is confirmed.
- Students (and College employees) who attend the vaccine clinic on campus will be eligible for additional prize drawings.
GIFT CARD PICK-UP:
Gift cards for students who complete the Vaccination Incentive Program eForm will be distributed to Clifton Campus students:
- Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the Student Activities Office (ATLC 204)
- Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the College Executive Offices (ATLC 343)
Middletown Campus students can pick up a gift card by going to the Middletown Campus Front Desk on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students can continue entering the Prize Drawing and continue to receive gift cards throughout Spring Semester.
INCENTIVE PROGRAM PRIZES:
- 10 weekly prizes of $100, given on Wednesday each week from Mar. 2 to Apr. 27, 2022
- 2 weekly prizes of $250 given on Wednesday each week from Mar. 2 to Apr. 27, 2022
- 1 grand prize of $5,000, given on Apr. 27, 2022
Financial support for the gift cards and prizes comes from Federal stimulus funds.
BACKGROUND:
The Vaccination Incentive Program was developed by a sub-group of the Academic Response Team and endorsed by President Posey and the College Executive Team.
A total of 1,575 students participated in the Fall Vaccination Incentive Program, and 80 students received their first COVID-19 vaccination as a result of the program.
The goal of the program is to provide a safe campus experience for everyone, by celebrating Cincinnati State students who are vaccinated and encouraging other students to get COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots.
