Tom Stark, a Cincinnati State founder and lifelong educator, died July 28, 2021.

Tom served as a College administrator for many years, first as Dean of the Math/Physical Sciences Division and then as Dean of the Humanities & Sciences Division until 1992.

After stepping down as Dean, Tom continued as a full-time Physics professor until his retirement in 1997.

Tom was the recipient of the House/Bruckmann Faculty Excellence Award in 1993.

Tom’s passion for teaching made a difference for countless numbers of students, and inspired the colleagues he worked with throughout his career at Cincinnati State.
