Horticulture Club sale of gourdulents & poinsettias starts today
The annual Horticulture Club Holiday Sale at the Clifton Campus Greenhouse (near the Ludlow Garage) begins today, November 14.
Gourdulents (a gourd filled with succulent plants) and poinsettias are available throughout this week to in-person shoppers. Sale hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Nov. 14, 15, 17, and 18) – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 16 – 9 a.m. to noon
Poinsettias will be available after Thanksgiving Break also.
- Gourdulents are $15 to $35, depending on the size
- Poinsettias are $13 each and are available in a variety of colors
- You can use cash or credit card for your purchases
Where is the Greenhouse? Access to the Clifton Campus Greenhouse is a short driveway located between Ludlow Ave. and the Ludlow Garage entrance. You can park in the small lot in front of the Greenhouse.
All proceeds from the annual sale support student participation in the National Collegiate Landscape Competition. This year’s competition will take place in March at Mississippi State University.
