Admissions, Registrar & Financial Aid offices are assisting students despite tech limitations

Several College departments that assist new and current students have announced some processes and limitations that will be in place until College network systems are fully restored.

Admissions

  • New prospective students are being entered into the “Connect” contact system and are receiving follow-up communication from Admissions.
  • The online Application Form cannot be used for new Spring Semester applications; however, an online form is being used to track students who express interest in applying..
  • All calls, email messages, and walk-ins are being responded to and tracked so follow-up can begin when necessary network systems are available again.

Financial Aid and Registrar

  • The Financial Aid and Registrar’s offices cannot provide any specific student information while Colleague and other systems are inaccessible.
  • The online Scholarship application form is currently not available.
  • The Office of Financial Aid can assist students in filling out the FAFSA form, using College computers in the front of the office. 
  • The Registrar’s Office cannot access transcripts at this time. Requests for transcripts are being collected and those making requests are being informed about the delay in processing.
  • The Registrar’s Office is accepting paper forms for Drop/Add requests, for Fall semester classes only.
