Fall Welcome Days greeted nearly 800 campus visitors

The Cincinnati State Admissions Office hosted three Welcome Days for incoming students during Summer 2026, with the final session held the week before classes started on August 24.

A total of 485 students attended across the three sessions, along with family members and guests that brought the total to just under 800 campus visitors.

Director of Admissions Audrey Woods said attendance at the three Welcome Days was up 6 percent compared to 2025, and she thanked the faculty members, staff members, and student volunteers who helped make the events special for visitors.

“Many new students walked away relieved,” Woods said. “Questions were answered, to-do lists got shorter, and you could feel the excitement building for the semester ahead. The Welcome Days were a great send-off into Fall!”
