CS Upward Bound students learned about college options at Transfer Fair

Apr 4, 2022

Ten Cincinnati State Upward Bound students from Mt. Healthy Junior/Senior High School attended the Transfer Center’s College Fair on Wednesday, Mar. 23.

The visiting students, in grades 9 to 12, used the opportunity to conduct research for their future college plans.

Sophomore Avrie Woods said she “had a breakthrough” in talking with one of the representatives about exploring a major in health sciences.

Shelia Bratcher, Interim Director of CState’s College Access Programs, thanked Transfer Center Manager Dr. Myshamil Walker for welcoming the high school students to the event.

“It made an incredible impact,” Shelia said.
