Cincy State co-sponsored HealthFORCE 2025 event for high school students
Cincinnati State was a sponsor of HealthFORCE 2025, an October 2025 event to promote healthcare careers. More than 1,000 high school students from over 40 schools in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus attended the event at the Great Wolf Lodge Conference Center in Mason, OH.

Cincinnati State faculty members from several healthcare programs joined employers and other educators from around the region to provide the visiting students with hands-on experiences, real-time Q&As, and facts about career paths in healthcare.
A focus for the event was “in-demand” jobs in healthcare including Surgical Technology, Nursing, Medical Assisting, and Imaging/Radiologic Technology.
Student members of Cincinnati State’s Surgical Technology Scrub Club attended the event, and helped introduce high school students to new career options.
The Surgical Technology exhibit also featured hands-on practice using medical instruments, with an orange standing in as the “patient” for the simulations. (See photos below)
