Career Center invites faculty & staff to learn about “YouScience” tool for enhanced career guidance

The Cincinnati State Career Center invites faculty and staff members to learn more about a new resource for students’ career development: YouScience.

YouScience is a unique career discovery assessment tool designed to help students discover their natural abilities and career opportunities. This assessment includes a series of “brain games” students complete to get their personal results.

A demonstration and training session for individuals interested in using the YouScience career tool in their classes will take place Friday, June 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom.

To register and receive the Zoom link, please complete this form.

Benefits for students who use the YouScience tool include:

  • A scientifically-proven solution, based on 50 years of research data, to help uncover aptitudes and interests
  • An online performance-based measure of aptitudes, with nothing to install
  • Improved self-confidence, and access to information about natural talents not tied to traditional academic measures
  • A unique way to connect student learning to their future pathway

Using YouScience in the classroom goes beyond just career exploration and gives students tools and language to discuss their aptitudes, while helping students to uncover talents, validate skills and knowledge, and instill hope, purpose, and direction.
