I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – Apr. 24-26
Some temporary overnight restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.
- All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
- To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Mill Creek Expressway Project
Wednesday & Thursday, April 24 & 25:
- Close the right lane on I-74 West, from the I-75 overpass bridge to the Elmore Street overpass bridge, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day.
Friday, April 26:
- Close the right lane on I-74 West, from the I-75 overpass bridge to the Elmore Street overpass bridge, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday, April 27.
- Full closure of Spring Grove Avenue from Colerain Avenue to Millcreek Road between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday. During closure, traffic will be detoured via Spring Grove Avenue, Monmouth Avenue, Central Parkway and Ludlow Avenue.
- Close the ramp from I-75 North to I-74 West, and the ramp from Hopple Street to I-74 West, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday, April 29. During the weekend closure, I-74 West traffic will be detoured via I-75 North, Mitchell Avenue and I-75 South. The I-75 South ramp to I-74 West will remain open.
