Office of Online Learning provides “Spark” session & other support this week

This week, the Office of Online Learning is offering a “Spark” professional development session, Office Hours, and other support for Blackboard, Zoom, and online course concerns.

On Friday, April 12, an in-person “Spark” professional development session takes place from noon to 2 p.m.

  • This session, led by Dr. Stephanie Stafford, is an interactive exploration of using the tech tools Canva, Padlet, and EdPuzzle to enhance teaching and provide engaging educational experiences for students.

Blackboard/Online Learning Office Hours (in-person and via Zoom) are facilitated by Dr. Jon McKamey, Instructional Designer

  • Tuesday, Apr. 9 – 11 a.m.-noon – ATLC 437 & Zoom
  • Wednesday, Apr. 10 – 1-2 p.m. – ATLC 437 & Zoom
  • Thursday, Apr. 11 – 3-4 p.m. – ATLC 437 & Zoom
  • Friday, Apr. 12 – 10-11 a.m. – ATLC 437 & Zoom

Drop in remotely or in person as needed to get help with specific Blackboard tools, troubleshooting, or any learning-related topic. Come prepared with your specific needs and you’ll get help seeking solutions.

Remote Assistance from the Instructional Designer

Assistance is available this week from Dr. Jon McKamey in person or on Zoom to help individuals with online course design and support and Blackboard information and issues.

Zoom Support for Faculty and Staff (via Zoom) is facilitated by Paul D. DeNu, Technical Communication Specialist

Paul is available by appointment to provide individual training, to help with concerns related to Zoom, and to answer technology-related questions.
