Will your department have openings for Work-Study students in Summer or Fall? Let the Career Center know.

The Cincinnati State Career Center is compiling a list of College divisions and departments that expect to hire Work-Study students during Summer Semester or Fall Semester 2024.

The  Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time jobs that help qualified students earn money while attending classes.

The Career Center would like to promote Work-Study opportunities and assist students in qualifying for and applying for these on-campus work opportunities.

  • Qualifying for the Federal Work-Study Program depends on the student’s level of financial need.
  • Typical jobs available include clerical work, tutoring, and assisting in computer labs.
  • Pay rates and rules are the same for Federal Work-Study workers and other student workers.

To add your division/department to the Work-Study employer list, please contact Dylan Bean, Student Services Specialist, at dylan.bean@cincinnatistate.edu.
