Condolences to Kathleen Pickens

Richard “Dick” Pickens, father of Kathleen Pickens (Coordinator of Information Services, Library), died March 25, 2024.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, from 5-7 p.m. at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, Ohio.

On Tuesday, April 2, friends are invited to join the family at the funeral home for a few brief prayers and a procession to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler, where a funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler, after which friends and family are invited to return to the church for a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers or donations, Richard expressly wanted everyone to take their families out to dinner, or to otherwise spend time appreciating each other’s company.
