Please reactivate your parking card– or the gates won’t work for you

(Updated Feb. 14, 2024, 1:45 p.m.)

If you’re wondering why most of the parking facility gates on Clifton Campus have been open for a while, it’s because of an outage in the network that controls these gates.

The network outage has been repaired– but as a result, all parking access cards (Prox Cards) must be reactivated. The deadline for reactivating your card is Wednesday, March 6.

Gates will remain open until March 6 so students and College employees can complete the reactivation. Messages will be sent to students, but faculty and staff are encouraged to share the news with students also.

To make sure your Prox Card will work when the gates are back in place, please bring your Prox Card, and a photo ID, to the Parking Services window on the 2nd floor of the ATLC, just outside the Student Activities Office.

Also, College offices that distribute parking passes to guests must send a message to parking@cincinnatistate.edu with the number of parking passes you have on hand.

  • New passes with a new QR code will be printed. You’ll get an email message to let you know when your new passes are ready for pick-up.

The Parking Office is scheduled to be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. the office is closed for a lunch break from 1-2 p.m.
