Installation of jib hoist will block Daycare parking this week

Daycare parking spaces in front of Main Building — These Daycare parking spots will be out of service for a few days

Starting Wednesday, September 6, and continuing for about three days, the Daycare parking spots adjacent to Main Building (Clifton Campus) will be blocked so a jib hoist–a crane used to lower heavy objects and materials–can be installed near the Daycare spots.

The jib hoist will be installed in a small landscape bed near the sidewalk, and will be out of sight most of the time.

The hoist replaces one that was in the same location prior to the Main Building flood. It will be used to move service equipment down to the boiler room area.
