I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – June 28-29

Some daytime and overnight restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.

• All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
• To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Slide Repair Project

• A permanent right lane closure on I-75 South from Mitchell Avenue to just north of Ludlow Avenue is in place for the duration of the project, which is scheduled to be complete by the end of September. 

Mill Creek Expressway Project

Wednesday & Thursday, June 28 & 29:

• Closure of Spring Grove Avenue, under I-74 between Mill Creek Road and Colerain Avenue, from 10 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via William P. Dooley or Elmore Street to Spring Grove Avenue (north of I-74) to Ludlow Avenue to Central Parkway to Monmouth Avenue back to Spring Grove Avenue (south of I-74).

Thursday, June 29:

• Single-lane closure on I-75 South, from Mitchell Avenue to Hopple Street, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Friday, June 30.

• Shoulder closure on I-74 West at the bridge over Mill Creek, from I-74 East to I-75 South and on the bridge over I-75, from I-74 East to I-75 North. 
• Closure of the I-74 East exit ramp to northbound Beekman Street (Exit 18) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via southbound Beekman Street and Elmore Street to Colerain Avenue and northbound Beekman.
• Closure of the northbound Beekman Street at Elmore Street intersection to Colerain Avenue, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via Elmore Street and Colerain Avenue.
