Preschoolers and staff members from the William L. Mallory Early Learning Center were special guests at the Surge Cupboard Farmer’s Market on April 13.

The preschoolers have been learning about fruits and vegetables and how they are grown. During their visit to the Farmer’s Market, the children were able to taste some of the produce offered, and they received a produce item and informational coloring pages to take home.

Surge Cupboard Farmer’s Market days are offered during Fall and Spring semesters. Any currently-registered Cincinnati State student who visits the Market can obtain free seasonal fruits and vegetables provided by the Freestore Foodbank.
