“Grad Finale” event helps students prepare for graduation and beyond
Student Activities invites all members of the College community to the Grad Finale event on Wednesday, April 12, at “The Spot” near the Bookstore (ATLC First Floor).
The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. and again from 4 to 5 p.m. At both sessions, graduating students can enter a raffle for a gift basket worth more than $100, and receive a graduation gift.
All are welcome to stop by either portion of Grad Finale to enjoy popcorn and snacks, and congratulate our future Cincinnati State graduates!
From noon to 2 p.m. students can take care of tasks such as:
- purchase your Commencement cap and gown from the Bookstore
- talk to a Registrar’s Office representative to make sure all needed graduation paperwork has been submitted and received
- chat with a Financial Aid advisor about financial aid-related questions
- get help from the Career Center with resume and interviewing tips, and check on available job openings
- learn from Transfer Center representatives how to maximize your credits if you’re thinking about continuing your education at another college or university
- talk to Cincinnati State Alumni

From 4 to 5 p.m., Grad Finale will continue with activities that include:
- purchase your Commencement cap and gown from the Bookstore
- get other useful information
- pick up a Phi Theta Kappa diploma seal (for Phi Theta Kappa members)
- enter the raffle to win a gift basket
- enjoy popcorn, snacks, free gifts, and more!
