During the first six weeks of Spring Semester, more than 100 students visited the Surge Cupboard to obtain food and other products at no cost.

Last week, the Surge Cupboard received a full cart of non-perishable food items donated by the Tutoring Center. The initiative included Tutoring Center Manager Debbie Greenlee and team members Diane Stump, Rebecca Bauer, Shea Gabriel, and Lynn Hansen.

  • Currently-registered Cincinnati State students may visit the Surge Cupboard in Main 137 once a month to receive up to a 3-day supply of food by showing their Surge Card (student ID card).
  • Service hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.
  • Students who want to visit the Food Pantry but have a conflict during the standard service hours should send a message to Angela Haensel (angela.haensel@cincinnatistate.edu).
