ACUE micro-credential badge

Cincinnati State full-time and adjunct faculty members, as well as staff members and administrators who work with students who are seeking a STEM-related degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) are invited to participate in a series of online micro-courses offered by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC) Success Center, in partnership with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).

  • The ACUE micro-courses focus on learning and implementing research-based teaching practices that improve student success.
  • ACUE micro-courses are asynchronous online courses that give participants opportunities to think about their own course (which may be offered in online or other modalities), attempt to implement new or expanded skills, and reflect on the effectiveness of those changes.
  • ACUE estimates participants will spend 2-3 hours per week on their micro-course work.
  • Those who successfully complete ACUE micro-courses earn digital badges that document your achievement.

The ACUE micro-courses offered include:

  • Mar. 27 – May 21, 2023Fostering a Culture of Belonging  – This micro-course is open to faculty, student support staff, and administrators
  • May 22 – July 2, 2023  Designing Learner-Centered and Equitable Courses
