ArtsWave Community Campaign 2023 begins

Cincinnati State’s annual ArtsWave campaign starts today, March 6, and continues until Friday, March 24.

ArtsWave is the Greater Cincinnati region’s local arts agency and the nation’s first and largest community campaign for the arts.

  • With the help of donors, ArtsWave provides funding and other resources to more than 125 arts and community organizations.
  • These organizations give more than 1 million individuals access to free or low-cost arts activities, and provide thousands of arts experiences each year for children across our region.
  • Dr. Monica Posey serves as an ArtsWave Trustee.

Pledge cards have been distributed to campus mailboxes, and if you contributed to ArtsWave last year, you received a personalized pledge card.

  • You can download a pledge card if needed.
  • To complete your pledge, return your pledge card (and check, if applicable) to Kim Taylor, Alumni and Development Affairs Manager, in ATLC 337.
  • Or if you prefer, you can donate online via credit card at Cincinnati State’s ArtsWave portal: https://give.artswave.org/cstate

In 2022, Cincinnati State’s ArtsWave campaign generated over $5,000 in pledges– surpassing the campaign goal by more than $1,000.

ArtsWave - Stronger Arts for a Stronger Region

Your contribution to ArtsWave helps create a ripple effect of community benefits, so please consider renewing a past gift or making a new gift to ArtsWave this year.

  • Depending on your pledge level, you may be eligible for an ArtsWave Pass, a special event with the producers of BLINK, tickets to the Reds, an FC Cincinnati special experience, and more!

Also, when you pledge you’ll be entered in the CState ArtsWave drawings:

  • Friday, March 10 – Skyline $10 gift certificate
  • Friday, March 17 – Admission for two at the “March Madness Sweet 16” party hosted by the Cincinnati State Alumni Association on March 23.

All members of the College community are invited to the campaign wrap-up event– an Ice Cream Social on Friday, March 24, at 3 p.m. Look for details in a future Daily News.
