Title IX online training underway for employees

Mar 3, 2023

Cincinnati State launched online Title IX training modules for faculty and staff members on March 1.

Employees received an email message from Vector Solutions with the subject line “Mandatory Title IX & Hazing Trainings.”

(If you deleted the message because you thought it was spam, please retrieve it from your deleted mail.)

Federal and state law requires colleges and universities to provide mandatory Title IX training for all employees and students.

Title IX training establishes an environment that recognizes the dignity of every person, free of discrimination and harassment, and protects the members of the college community against sex-based discrimination, including sexual violence.

The email message employees received contains links to two training modules: Title IX general information and Hazing information.

  • The two modules should take less than 90 minutes (in total) to complete.
  • Employees have until Sunday, April 30, 2023, to finish the training modules.
  • To start the online training, you’ll log in using your Cincinnati State user name and password.

Training modules for students will be open from March 20 to April 30, 2023.

Employees with questions should contact Title IX Coordinator/HR Director Falonda Rodgers (falonda.rodgers@cincinnatistate.edu).
