CState employees and students can attend SOCHE “What’s Next” DEI Conference on Dec. 2

Cincinnati State faculty and staff members are invited to attend the 2022 “What’s Next” DEI Conference, sponsored by SOCHE (Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education).

This virtual event takes place Friday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom, but the $20 registration fee for personnel from SOCHE member schools (including Cincinnati State) ends Monday, November 21. After Nov. 21, the fee is $30. Interested students can attend for free.

The conference is an opportunity to gather with other higher education advocates, allies, and DEI professionals to discuss the current climate around campus DEI initiatives, the challenges might arise, and where efforts could (and should) go from here.

Session topics include:

  • Keynote Speaker: Transforming Your Institution Through Inclusive Leadership (Dr. Bleuzette Marshall, Vice President for Equity, Inclusion & Community Impact, University of Cincinnati)
