The Cincinnati State Career Services Center has several events scheduled during the rest of October and in November, in addition to continuously-available services.

Focus on career planning by using Career Center resources

Career planning is an ongoing process that helps individuals understand themselves, explore careers, make decisions, gain relevant experience, build networks, and market themselves.

Key tools available to students through the Career Center (in-person and online) include:

  • Career Coach: Self-assessment tools and wage data for the Greater Cincinnati area.
  • YouScience: Aptitude assessment to help students discover their strengths.
  • Virtual Job Shadow (recently renamed Pathful Explore): An online platform with hundreds of engaging, day-in-the-life videos for real jobs and career profiles.
  • CState CareerLink: The Career Center’s site that gives students and graduates access to job postings, as well as opportunities to register for Career Center and employer events.
  • The Big Interview: A website provided through OhioMeansJobs, with a library of resources that help students prepare for interviews and practice answering interview questions.
  • On-Demand Programming: Recorded presentations from the Career Center and employers.
