Volunteers still needed to help with ENGAGE events in October

Cincinnati State “ENGAGE” recruiting events will return to Clifton Campus on October 6 and 7.

On Thursday, October 6, the ENGAGE Community Open House will welcome an expected 200 prospective students and their families. The Open House takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Main Building Conference Center.

During the ENGAGE Open House, visitors can talk to faculty and staff members and enjoy interactive exhibits while learning more about Cincinnati State academic programs and experiential learning. ENGAGE also provides information about financial aid, student services, student activities, and the admissions process.

On Friday, October 7, the ENGAGE Student event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Center and other campus locations. Close to 500 high school students are expected to participate in tours and interactive breakout sessions related to future career pathways.

Students, faculty, and staff members are needed to serve as ENGAGE Student Ambassadors. From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., each Ambassador will lead a group of 20 students, along with their chaperones, through an ENGAGE Career Path, highlighting key areas on campus while guiding their group to each session.
