Faculty Senate elects officers for 2022-23

The Cincinnati State Faculty Senate elected new officers at the Senate meeting on September 7.

  • President: Milene Donlin (Health & Public Safety – Biology)
  • Vice President: Ralph Whaley (Engineering Technologies – Electrical Engineering Technologies)
  • Elections Secretary: Jon McKamey (Library & Online Learning – Instructional Design)
  • Recording Secretary: Jayne Dressing (Humanities – Co-op/Internship Coordination)

Other members of the Senate are:

  • Beth Hamon (Health & Public Safety – Nursing)
  • Jeremy Huber (Sciences – Physics)
  • Bob Nields (Information Technologies – Computer Programming & Database Management)
  • Lesli Rice (Business – Marketing Management) – Lesli is the Past President of Senate, after serving in that role for two years

Ex officio Senate members are:

  • Anthony “Tony” Baker (Adjunct Instructor Representative)
  • Marianne Niese (AAUP President)

The eight elected members of the Faculty Senate are chosen by the full-time faculty in their division and serve three-year terms.

The Senate officers are elected annually by the members of the Senate.

Faculty Senate meets on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. during Fall and Spring semesters. Senate meetings are open to all full-time and adjunct faculty members (except adjunct faculty who are also College full-time employees in a non-faculty role).
