Students can prepare for Fall Job Fairs with help from CState Career Center & “Suit-Up” event

The Cincinnati State Career Center is hosting several job fairs during Fall Semester, including:

• Federal Work-Study Job Fair – Tuesday, September 20 – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – ATLC First Floor
• Part-time Employment Job Fair – Wednesday & Thursday, September 21 & 22 – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – ATLC First Floor
• Co-op and Career Expo/Fair – Tuesday, October 11 – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Main Building Conference Center
• Health Professions Career & Education Fair – Tuesday, November 15 – 12:30 – 3 p.m. – Main Building Conference Center

Suit-Up Event offers 30% discount on professional attire

To help students look their best during Job Fairs and at work, Cincinnati State is participating in the JC Penney Suit-Up Event, which takes place online and in stores from September 1 through October 30.

• This program helps students obtain a variety of professional attire at a 30% discount.

Workshops will help students get ready for Job Fairs

Several workshop sessions in September will help students learn what to expect and how to get the most out of Job Fair activities. The workshops include:

• Federal Work-Study Job Search workshops – September 7 and September 13, starting at 1 p.m. in ATLC 317
• How To Prepare For A Job Fair workshop – September 29, starting at noon, in the Career Center (ATLC 215)
