The Cincinnati State Career Center is compiling a list of College divisions and departments that expect to hire Work-Study students during academic year 2022-23.

The  Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time jobs that help qualified students earn money while attending classes.

  • Qualifying for the Federal Work-Study Program depends on the student’s level of financial need.
  • Typical jobs available include clerical work, tutoring, and assisting in computer labs.
  • Pay rates and rules are the same for Federal Work-Study workers and other student workers.

A hiring event for Work-Study students will take place in September (exact date to be announced soon). The Career Center hopes to promote Work-Study opportunities to students and assist them in qualifying and applying for these on-campus work opportunities.
