I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – May 31-June 3

The Interstate 75/I-74 major reconstruction project has scheduled some evening and overnight restrictions near Clifton Campus, starting Tuesday, May 31 through early morning on Saturday, June 4:

Tuesday, May 31

  • Single-lane closure on I-74 West from I-75 North to Montana Avenue, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 1.
  • Closure of the ramp from I-75 South to I-74 West, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via the Hopple Street interchange.
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between the Western Hills Viaduct and I-74, from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., followed by a double-lane closure from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and a triple-lane closure from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Single-lane closure on I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and I-75, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Short-term (15 minute) full closure of I-75 north between the Western Hills Viaduct and I-74, from midnight (12:01 a.m.) to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Wednesday & Thursday, June 1 & 2

  • Single-lane closure on I-74 West from I-75 North to Montana Avenue, each night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Closure of the ramp from I-75 South to I-74 West, from 10 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via the Hopple Street interchange.
  • Closure of the ramp from I-74 West to Beekman Street, from 10 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following day.
  • Single-lane closure on I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and I-75, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Friday, June 3

  • Single-lane closure on I-74 West from I-75 North to Montana Avenue, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 4.
  • Single-lane closure on I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and I-75, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Closure of the ramp from Beekman Street to I-74 East, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.

All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
