Today is the last day to enter Student Vax Incentive Grand Prize drawing

The final prize drawing for the Spring Student Vaccination Incentive Program takes place this week.

  • Students can still fill out the eForm today and enter the prize drawing if they received a COVID-19 vaccine first dose or second dose after Dec. 14, 2021, or received a COVID booster shot anytime.
     
  • The final prize drawing on Apr. 27 will include the grand prize of $5,000.
     
  • Students who fill out the eForm also are eligible to receive a $25 gift card.

As of mid-March, nearly 250 students had entered the Spring Vaccination Incentive Program.

  • The majority (over 170) reported getting booster shots.
  • Over 40 students reported getting their second shot and 30 students reported receiving their first vaccine shot.

A complete list of students who have received $250 prizes and $100 prizes in past weeks is posted on the Student Vaccination Incentive Program Winners page on the College website.

Winners of the most recent $250 prize drawings (Apr. 20) were Hyunjoo Lee (Medical Laboratory Technology) and Anthony Stewart (Associate of Science).

  • Elinza Caldwell – Nursing – “I got vaccinated to stay healthy.”
     
  • Jamie Grossman – Diagnostic Medical Sonography – “I’m vaccinated to protect my family and my community.”
     
  • Melinda Mason – Nursing – “I’m vaccinated to lessen chances of serious illness.”
     
  • Jacob Miller – Emergency Medical Technician – “I’m vaccinated for health reasons.”
     
  • Jayla Serles – Associate of Arts – “I got vaccinated because I wanted to travel outside the country and wanted to be safe.”
     
  • Ashley Stanback – Nursing – “It’s a safety protocol.”
