    • In answer to a question from Board Chair George Vincent, Dr. Posey said if enrollment for Spring Semester 2022 is higher than expected, the Summer tuition increase might be rescinded.

    • Mr. Vincent also noted that Cincinnati State’s tution is lower than tuition at all of the area’s 4-year institutions and their regional campuses.
  • Approval of a resolution to authorize use of capital funds and federal stimulus funds for several conceptual design projects, including:
    • completing conceptual designs for Clifton Campus Main Building, a project that was in progress in Spring Semester 2020 but was suspended because of the pandemic.

Trustee John Silverman noted that all of the projects are at the concept stage and said “many more steps” would be required before any of the projects would lead to new construction.
  • A report from Associate Provost Dr. Denise Rohr on the commendation received from the Higher Learning Commission for the College’s Interim Report on Assessment of Learning Outcomes.

    • A report on the College’s application for approval of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Cincinnati State. Provost Robbin Hoopes said the target date for submitting Cincinnati State’s application is Nov. 15, and the complete approval process is expected to take less time than was needed for approval of Cincinnati State’s first two bachelor’s degree programs.
