New barista machine at Bakery Hill provides numerous tasty beverages

Oct 6, 2021

Bakery Hill is open, and welcomes Clifton Campus students and College employees to enjoy a wide range of coffee-based beverages (as well as chocolate and vanilla drinks) made possible through a newly-installed Nescafe Barista Bean-to-Cup machine.

Chef Michael VanFleet said the Barista machine can be used to prepare a varied selection of high-quality drinks, and is more efficient to operate and maintain than equipment used previously to create specialty drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty hot chocolate.

The Barista machine is a sealed environment that grinds coffee beans and dispenses flavorings from individual packaging provided by Nescafe. The only human intervention required for each serving is pressing the “dispense” button on the outside of the machine.

“The Barista machine promotes safety while dispensing drinks we are sure Bakery Hill customers will enjoy!” said Chef VanFleet.

Bakery Hill is open from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday through Friday.

Each week on “Free Coffee Friday,” customers can get a free small coffee or hot tea at Bakery Hill from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
