To the College community:

Thank you to everyone who took the time to send my family and me some kind thoughts and words of encouragement after my Dad passed away. And special thanks for the donations made to the Boone County Animal Shelter in his memory.

As was mentioned in his obituary, Dad was the embodiment of the old saying about strangers just being friends you haven’t met yet. I try to follow his example every day.
