Routledge, a publisher of textbooks in Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM fields, is offering a free virtual event titled “OER by Design: Planning a Course with Open Educational Resources” on Tuesday, June 29, starting at 11 a.m. (Eastern Time)

  • The webinar will:
    • discuss a strategy for designing a course with Open Educational Resources (OER)

    • provide practical and easy-to-use tools to guide course planning and design with OER

    • share an online faculty development workshop, itself an OER, that can be adapted by attendees for their own use
  • The presenters, Dr. Olena Zhadko and Dr. Susan Ko, are co-authors of the book Best Practices in Designing Courses with Open Educational Resources, and Dr. Ko is co-author of the book Teaching Online: A Practical Guide.
