Surge Purge, by the numbers

“Surge Purge in Main,” held on Clifton Campus last week, was a success, according to documentation and photographic evidence (above and below) provided by the College Facilities Department.

Thanks to all who assisted with the clean-up project!

• Pounds of paper shredded: 18,020
   
• Number of wheeled totes signed out for use by “purgers”: 98
   
• Rumpke Recycling Gaylord* boxes filled: 20
   
• Rumpke construction dumpsters filled: 13
   
• Skids of e-waste removed from campus prior to and during “purge” event: 12
   
  
• Gaylord* boxes of e-waste filled (from C-wing): 10
  
   
• Metal and scrap containers filled: 2
   
• 60-yard trash compactors filled: 1
   
• Refrigerators removed (after doors were removed by CState personnel): Several? (Notes received from Facilities Dept. aren’t clear)
   
• Snacks provided to hungry and thirsty “purge” personnel: Many
