Library offers “final stretch” research help for students

The Cincinnati State Library is offering “final stretch” workshops and other assistance this week for students who are completing research projects.

Expanded Library Workshops are available on Zoom four times each day, Monday through Thursday. Sessions start at noon, 12:30 p.m., 5 p.m, and 5:30 p.m.

  • Each session begins with a brief demonstration of how to find articles or e-books, and continues with open lab time for students to find resources while a librarian is available to help.

  • Library Workshops are open to everyone and pre-registration is not required.

Other help for students includes:

  • Individual Research Appointments with a librarian are available Monday through Friday via Zoom. Sign-up is easy at https://cincinnatistate.libcal.com/appointments?lid=5140&g=10691.
     
  • Help via Instant Message/Chat is available during the Library’s Virtual Help Hours, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
