Cincinnati State Story Quilt Workshop

12/06/2019 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm
President's Dining Room (ATLC 244, inside the Summit Restaurant)

All members of the College community are invited to contribute to the Cincinnati State Story Quilt-- a "patchwork of experiences" that will reflect the contributions of the many individuals who are part of Cincinnati State's 50 years of success.

The finished quilt will be displayed during the 50th Anniversary Alumni Weekend to be held May 15 and 16, 2020.

The Workshops will assist those who want add your square to the Quilt, and are open to novices as well as experienced crafters.

Even if you've never quilted, you're encouraged to be part of this one-of-a-kind project.

Retired faculty members (and quilters) Debbie Bogenschutz, Joyce Rimlinger, and Diane Stump will be on hand to help you with any stage of working on your square for the quilt, including:

  • developing ideas and designing your quilt square

  • viewing samples of fabrics and supplies you might want to use

  • getting help with construction of your quilt square

Your finished quilt square must be turned in by Jan. 21, 2020.

For more information, including specifications for quilt squares, download the Cincinnati State Story Quilt flyer.
