Student Vax Incentive increases participation & names Week 6 winners

Providing easier access to the Student Vaccination Incentive Program eForm, along with some additional outreach via text message, led to a boost in participation in the incentive program.

As of Nov. 19, more than 1,250 students have submitted the eForm indicating they are fully vaccinated, and more than 50 students have reported receiving their first COVID-19 vaccine since the incentive program started.

The new eForm link is https://web3.cincinnatistate.edu/eforms/eform.aspx?form_id=2033. Log in is not required; this link goes directly to the eForm.

• Faculty and staff members are encouraged to share the link with students who have not yet entered the incentive program.
   
• There is no drawing this week, but weekly cash prizes will be awarded on Dec. 1, 8, and 15 and the $10,000 grand prize will be awarded on Dec. 15.

Amanda said, “I got vaccinated because it’s the right thing to do for myself and my family. I’m ready for things to get back to normal!”

Naimah El Amin, a Diagnostic Medical Sonography student who won a $100 prize, said, “I got vaccinated to give my family a better chance of keeping safe. I don’t want my little brother to catch anything!” (photo at left)

Jamie Morman, Pre-Business Administration: “I got vaccinated to protect all of the people that aren’t able to. My friend was diagnosed with leukemia so this reason hits home for me.”

Fatoumata Toure, Accounting: “I decided to get vaccinated to protect myself and my children–ages 5, 3, and 2–from the virus.” (photo at right)

Savannah Vogel, Occupational Therapy Assisting Technology: “I got vaccinated for my dad, for other family members, and for the kids I work with.”
