Final week for Giving Challenge Coin Wars

The second-- and final-- week of the 2019 Coin Wars Challenge is Oct. 21 through Oct. 25.

  • Use your nickels, dimes, quarters, and paper money to help your division/department fill a jar for the Annual Fund Giving Challenge.
  • Put your pennies in rival teams' collection jars, and lower their totals.

In addition to division/department fundraising projects announced last week, the Humanities & Sciences Division (last year's Team Champions) is offering an array of Giving Challenge activities this year, including:

  • A lunch table for four at the Summit Restaurant on Oct. 22 (tomorrow!) is a silent auction item until 5 p.m. today-- the auction form is in the kitchen/lounge inside the H&S Office (Main 232).
  • Additional Silent Auction items will be available for bidding from Oct. 23 to Oct. 28.
  • H&S also is raffling use of the Dean's parking space for a week.
  • The H&S Soup Kitchen-- a long-standing project started by Emeritus Professor Larry Pucke-- is contributing proceeds to the Giving Challenge also.
  • For more information about H&S fundraisers, contact Team Captains Daniel Anderson and Tom Bauer.
